After starting the season in the GTC category, the pairing of Héctor Hernández and Borja Hormigos are changing machinery, moving to the BMW M4 GT4 (G82) and thus returning to the GT4 Bronze division, with the support of Autoworks Motorsport and the sponsorship of EBC Brakes España.
At the end of last season, the team’s goal had been precisely to change car in order to continue competing in GT4 Bronze division, where they had secured third place in all three championships forming part of the Supercars Endurance series.
Initially, this change was not possible, and the team therefore competed in the first two rounds of the championship in the GTC category. However, following the Jarama race, an unexpected turn of events allowed them to switch to a more modern and evolved car, which simultaneously enables their return to the GT4 Bronze division.

The BMW M4 GT4 (G82) is the latest version of BMW Motorsport’s model and incorporates, compared with its predecessor — which Hernández-Hormigos raced over the past two seasons — significant advancements in electronics, traction control management, and ABS.
"Taking this step has been a major effort for the team, but we are very excited about the new car. With its livery, we wanted to pay tribute to our F82, to our 2024 results, and to our first year in the GT4 Bronze category. We now have a lot of work ahead of us, both on track and in the garage, but we will make the most of the remaining races this season to prepare for 2026, when we hope to fight for the category title," commented Héctor and Borja.

Looking ahead to the first round in Valencia this weekend, on-track action will begin with the free practice sessions scheduled for Saturday from 09:00. In the afternoon, the two qualifying sessions that will determine the starting grids are set for 15:30 (Q1) and 15:50 (Q2).
The main programme takes place on Sunday, featuring two races: the first starts at 11:05, with the second getting underway at 16:05.
