BMW M2 Cup Iberia Launched

The BMW M2 Cup Iberia has been officially launched and will join the Supercars Endurance championship grid, which comprises Iberian Supercars, the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade and Supercars España.

The one-make series will be integrated into the touring car category, using the BMW M2 Racing, a model developed by BMW M Motorsport specifically for customer racing and brand trophy competitions.

The German-built machine produces an impressive 313 hp, allowing it to reach a top speed of 270 km/h. On the chassis side, the BMW M2 Racing is equipped with suspension and dampers derived from BMW M Motorsport’s GT3 technology, while the braking system has been developed by BMW M Sport, ensuring performance, consistency and reliability on track.

This agreement between Race Ready, promoter of Supercars Endurance, and BMW Ibérica, which supports the competition, will introduce a new field of powerful and well-balanced cars to the championship, further enhancing on-track action and increasing the technical diversity of the series.

The integration of the BMW M2 Cup Iberia represents an accessible and educational entry point for young drivers looking to take their first steps in Iberian circuit racing, providing an ideal platform from which to progress to GT4 competition. At the same time, it offers Gentleman Drivers a competitive, reliable and highly engaging car within the framework of a leading endurance racing championship.

The BMW M2 Cup Iberia will feature 10 races across five race weekends, running in line with the 2026 Iberian Supercars calendar, from May to December.

All races will be broadcast live on DAZN Spain and DAZN Portugal, as well as streamed on Race Ready’s official YouTube channel, with additional coverage on specialised international motorsport platforms.
