With the countdown to the Vila Real Circuit (2/3 July) "accelerating", the grid of the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade (CPV)/Supercars Endurance (SE) by Hankook is gaining new protagonists, the latest of which is Fábio Mota, who will line up alongside Bruno Pires at the wheel of a Porsche 911 Cup in the GTC Class.
"This series is growing and has fantastic cars, which fill the imagination of the fans and beyond. There are also great drivers, which guarantees a high level of driving. With these arguments and with Vila Real on the calendar, the choice was obvious. I think it is the championship that gives me more guarantees to be able to give return to my sponsors," said Fábio Mota, who took part in the GT4 Europe, among other international categories.
"I think we have good arguments to be protagonists throughout the season. Our car is competitive and we are well technically supported by Fabela Sport. Therefore, we are optimistic and confident. Vila Real is the first race and it couldn't be a better place to start. It's a track that says a lot to me, with fantastic and enthusiastic fans. We will give our best to ensure good results," concluded Fábio Mota.
No less excited is Bruno Pires, who will make his debut at Vila Real street circuit driving a GT car: "Fábio and I did not enter this project to have fun, and we will work hard to obtain the greatest outcomes possible. The competition is strong, it won't be easy, but we are determined and confident to have a good performance in this round of the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade".
The two races of the CPV/SE by Hankook, each with a duration of 45 minutes and mandatory pit stop, will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Both races will be broadcast live on Porto Canal TV channel.
