NM Racing Team is gearing up for another Supercars Endurance series campaign, with the Barcelona-based squad set to field three Mercedes-AMG GT4 entries across the championship’s different GT4 divisions.
The Catalan team has competed for several years in the championship promoted by Race Ready, establishing itself as one of the leading outfits on the grid. In 2025, NM Racing Team secured the Supercars España GT4 Pro-Bronze title through Filip Vava and Guillermo Aso, a pairing that returns this year with renewed ambitions.
One of the standout performers last season, Vava will this time share the #15 Mercedes-AMG GT4 with Uruguayan driver Tomas Granzella, who returns to Iberian competition this year in the GT4 Pro division. Meanwhile, Aragón’s Guillermo Aso, who alongside Vava claimed the 2025 Supercars España GT4 Pro-Bronze title, will team up with young driver Mario Pinazo in the #36 entry competing in GT4 Pro-Bronze.
The major novelty for the Spanish squad is undoubtedly Mario Pinazo’s debut in Supercars Endurance. The young Spaniard, who comes from a karting background and made his GT racing debut in the GT4 Winter Series, joins one of the championship’s most competitive divisions in what will be a particularly demanding environment, supported by the team’s accumulated experience and in-depth knowledge of the Mercedes-AMG GT4.

In GT4 Bronze, NM Racing Team will continue with Ricardo Costa and Andrés Prieto at the wheel of the #97 Mercedes-AMG GT4. The duo was among the protagonists last season, claiming several victories in the GT4 Bronze division, while the Portuguese driver secured the division title in both Supercars España and the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade. With the Iberian title clearly in their sights, the Portuguese-Colombian pairing is expected to remain a regular contender for top positions, aiming to build on the strong results achieved in 2025.
“We are very excited about the start of the 2026 Supercars Endurance season. This year we once again have a car in each division, with highly competitive driver pairings and a clear objective: to fight for the best possible results in all three divisions. Teamwork and consistency will be key in what promises to be an extremely competitive grid. We are prepared, motivated and eager to begin the season in Portimão,” Nil Montserrat, Team Principal of NM Racing Team.
The 2026 Supercars Endurance series season gets underway between 15 and 17 May at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, as part of the Algarve Iberian Racing Festival, an event that will simultaneously host Iberian Supercars, the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade and the Campeonato de Supercars de España.
