SUNDER MOTORWORKS PREPARES FOR GT4 OUTING AT JEREZ

Sunder Motorworks will compete in the next round of the 2026 Supercars Endurance series with a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport entered in the GT4 Am class at Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto.

The Spanish outfit will compete in the Jerez Iberian Racing Festival from 6 to 8 November, with Oana Gratiela and José Garcia sharing the car. The husband-and-wife pairing share the ambition of gaining experience and developing together as racing drivers.

The Málaga-based team is no stranger to GT racing in the Iberian Peninsula. In 2024, it competed in the GT Winter Series and returned to the Algarve in 2026 to contest the GT4 Winter Series with Romanian driver Oana Gratiela and Spaniard José Garcia at the wheel of a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. The team also entered the Sports Prototype Winter Series with a Radical SR3.

The couple’s participation reflects the Gentleman Driver and Gentlewoman Driver ethos at the heart of the project. Oana Gratiela has already competed in the GT4 Winter Series, while José Garcia has experience in GT3 and GT4 endurance racing, as well as the Nürburgring 24 Hours. His experience will be valuable in helping his wife develop as a driver, as she looks to gain experience and progress in GT racing.

“Supercars Endurance is an excellent platform for driver development. The competitiveness of the grids allows drivers to improve and gain experience in a demanding environment,” says Steven Berndtson, head of Sunder Motorworks.

“One of our objectives is to support Oana in her development as a driver and help her progress in GT racing. We hope this outing will allow her to gain experience and confidence behind the wheel of the Porsche,” he adds.

The Jerez Iberian Racing Festival takes place at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto from 6 to 8 November. The event counts towards the Iberian Supercars and Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade standings and will also feature the final double-header of the Campeonato de España de Supercars season at Jerez.
