British team Tockwith Motorsports has confirmed its participation in the Iberian Supercars by Hankook, entering two Ginetta cars for the opening round at Jarama on May 14/15.
Last season, the York-based team was one of the main movers and shakers in the Supercars Endurance series, taking several wins in the GT class and clinching two Drivers' titles with Marmaduke Hall (GT4 PRO) and Jemma Moore (GTC).
For the season-opener, Tockwith Motorsports returns with Marmaduke Hall (Ginetta G55 GT4), who will team up with Fontes in the GT4 PRO class, and Jemma Moore (Ginetta G50) will once again be partnered by Aubrey Hall in the GTC class.
Simon Moore, Team Manager of Tockwith Motorsports, makes no secret of his delight for the team's return to racing on the Iberian Peninsula. “We are delighted to be competing in the championship and hopefully defending last year’s championship wins. We are especially looking forward to the Vila Real street race and the Barcelona event; it will be good for our drivers," he added.
