Tockwith Motorsports to run three Ginettas at Vila Real

British team Tockwith Motorsports will run a three-car effort in the second round of the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade (CPV) by Hankook and the Supercars Endurance series non-championship race at Circuito Internacional de Vila Real.

Marmaduke Hall will line up alongside Tom Roche in the #78 Tockwith Motorsport Ginetta G55 GT4. Marmaduke Hall has been a regular presence in Supercars Endurance races and will team up for the first time with Tom Roche, a driver with extensive experience in the British one-make cup series.

The British team, which makes its debut in Vila Real and for the first time will compete in street circuit, has signed up two more Ginetta G50 for the race in the GTC class. Aubrey Hall, the younger brother of Marmaduke Hall, who is competing in Supercars Endurance with the same car, will team up with the Portuguese driver Paulo Sousa, who returns to Vila Real circuit after competing there in classic car races.

Paulo Sousa said, "I did two races with this car, one in Estoril and another one in Portimão, but racing with it in Vila Real will be completely different and better, because it is a unique track. I have already driven four different classic cars there, but doing it with the Ginetta G50 is like a new track. Of course I'm aiming to fight for the win in the GTC class, but I will try to not mess up and to deliver the car in perfect condition to Aubrey Hall. I know well the Tockwith team, which is fantastic, we are all very good friends, a real family..."

The third British-built car will be driven by Jemma Moore, who together with Aubrey Hall won the first two races of the CPV season in Jarama in the GTC class. The youngest-ever GT4 South European Series winner will team up with Damian Hirst, who has experience of competing in touring cars in the UK.
