The Circuito Ricardo Tormo once again hosted a thrilling race, marked by razor-thin margins and multiple position changes over the 23 laps. The Valencian crowd erupted with excitement as Nerea Martí and José de los Milagros took victory at the wheel of the Promotion Motorsport-run BMW Motorsport España BMW M4 GT4 EVO.

José de los Milagros delivered a superb opening stint, gaining numerous positions and putting the Bavarian made car firmly in the fight for the race lead. Local star Nerea Martí was tasked with closing out the race, fending off intense attacks from César Machado in the Speedy Motorsport Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2, while Roberto Faria in the Racar Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 closely followed the battle.

The race had a chaotic start, with Adrián Ferrer making light contact with Henrique Ventura Oliveira’s Aston Martin, which triggered a chain reaction involving Francisco Abreu’s Toyota. Both the British car and the Toyota Gazoo Racing Caetano Portugal entry were forced to retire on the opening lap, dealing a blow to Francisco Mora and Francisco Abreu’s title hopes.

In GT4 Pro, the victory for José de los Milagros/Nerea Martí had special significance for the local fans who flocked to support Nerea Martí. The result also tightened the division’s title battle, with the BMW pairing now firmly in contention.

César Machado and Adrián Ferrer finished second, while Mathieu Martins and Roberto Faria claimed third, strengthening their position in the championship. José Carlos Pires and Tomás Guedes (Toyota, Speedy Motorsport) secured fourth place, underlining the unpredictable nature of the class.

GT4 Pro-Bronze also saw a fierce contest as expected, with Guillermo Aso and Filip Vava (Mercedes AMG GT4, NM Racing Team) taking the win by less than two seconds over Sérgio Azevedo / Orlando Batina (Toyota, Batina Racing). The latter had even led overall following the pit stops. Bruno Pires / Mark Kastelic (Mercedes AMG, Lema Racing) completed the podium, maintaining their trademark consistency. Gonçalo Araújo (Aston Martin, Araújo Competição), partnered by Bruno Pereira, was unlucky after fighting for a podium spot before a late-race crash on the main straight forced their retirement.

In GT4 Bronze, NM Racing Team celebrated again, this time with Andrés Prieto and Ricardo Costa (Mercedes) taking the class victory. Álvaro Lobera / Gonzalo de Andrés (McLaren Artura GT4, SMC Motorsport) finished second, while series debutant Kyam Potež (Mercedes AMG, Lema Racing) took third.

Debutant team PCR Sport enjoyed redemption after a race-one retirement caused by contact with a rival. Their Mercedes-AMG triumphed in GT4 Am, with Vicente Dasí / Josep Parera executing a flawless strategy and finishing their first Supercars Endurance weekend on a high note. Ruben Vaquinhas / Pedro Bastos Rezende (Aston Martin, Gianfranco Motorsport) claimed second, followed by Smörg and Javier Macías in the Promotion Motorsport BMW.

In GTX, Pompeu Simões and Duarte Camelo (Porsche, Speedy Motorsport) delivered a commanding performance to take victory in the event’s second race. Alba Vázquez / Alfonso Colomina and newcomer Alex Wendt, both driving McLaren 570S GT4 cars for McLaren Barcelona - SMC Motorsport, rounded out the podium, strengthening the Spanish team’s impressive results.

The Porsche 911 Cup-only CUP division saw Rui Miritta (Monteiros Competições) once again display his experience and consistency, taking another superlative win. The English duo Marcus Fothergill / Dave Benett (Tockwith Motorsport) finished second, while Vítor Costa (Monteiros Competições) celebrated his first podium after the retirement of Adam Fawsitt / Pedro Paiva Raposo (Protech Motorsport) and a drive-through penalty for Ángel Lanchares (Lan GP Racing).

The next round of the Iberian Supercars and Supercars España will take place at Jerez de la Frontera on 31 October, 1 and 2 November, also counting towards the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade, where the Spanish competition will reach its climax.
