Autoworks Motorsport has confirmed its entry for the 2026 Supercars Endurance season, continuing its commitment to what has become one of Europe’s leading circuit racing championships.
The Madrid-based outfit will once again compete in both the Campeonato de España de Supercars and the Iberian Supercars, returning with the BMW M4 GT4 (G82) to contest the GT4 Bronze division.
One of the cornerstones of the project remains the stability of the pairing formed by Héctor Hernández and Borja Hormigos, who will enter their seventh consecutive season together in endurance racing in 2026. After making their Supercars Endurance debut in 2023, the two Spanish drivers now prepare for their fourth campaign in the Iberian championship, firmly establishing themselves as one of the most experienced and well-synchronised pairings on the grid. Their relationship, built since childhood, has been one of the defining characteristics of the Spanish team over recent seasons.

Autoworks Motorsport’s technical evolution has also mirrored the team’s growing competitiveness. The programme began with the BMW M240i Racing before progressing to the previous-generation BMW M4 GT4 (F82), culminating now in the current BMW M4 GT4 (G82), developed by BMW M Motorsport and set to form the basis of the team’s challenge for the leading positions in GT4 Bronze during what promises to be an even more competitive season.
Héctor Hernández highlighted the identity that the Spanish outfit has built over recent years. “We have created a structure where the highest level of professionalism, competitive spirit and an unmatched passion for motorsport form the foundation of everything we do”, stated the Madrid driver, underlining the ambition of a team that continues to strengthen its presence within the Iberian Peninsula’s premier circuit racing championship.
The 2026 Supercars Endurance season will get underway next weekend at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, as part of the Algarve Iberian Racing Festival, an event that will simultaneously launch the Iberian Supercars, the Campeonato de España de Supercars and the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade.
