Bullitt Racing's Mercedes returns to the Supercars - GT4 South with Pattrick/ Monti
After several podiums in 2019, Bullitt Racing now returns to the renamed Supercars - GT4 South to do the full season with a Mercedes-AMG GT4. The Marbella-based outfit has entered a Mercedes for 2021 in the five weekends that award the title of the competition sponsored by Gupe, GC24 that will start as early as next 5 and 6 June at the Jarama circuit. Bullitt Racing regularly competed in the GT4 European Series, joining GT4 South in 2019 with two Mercedes-AMGs. They liked the concept of the new Iberian competition, returning in 2020 and now a third time in 2021 betting in the faithful Mercedes AMG GT4. The Mercedes-AMG will have at the wheel the experienced driver and CEO of the structure, Stephen Pattrick and to share the command of the beautiful German car appears no less than Frenchman Romain Monti. The previous 24H SPA Silver winner GT3 World challenge driver, knows the team well, as he finish 7th in Bullitt colours in the competitive GT4 European in 2019.This Franco-British duo will race for victories in the Pro-Am category and will be serious candidates for the final tittle. Steffan Pattrick, Bullitt Racing team Manager summarises the team's objectives thus “We are excited to be back in the GT4 South for our third year running. There is a great roster of circuits this season and given the ever growing level of competition in the series, which as a team we love, we know that we must be on top of our game to bring home the results. With a slow start to the year due to the pandemic we are now counting down the days until Bullitt is unleashed at Jarama!” Diogo Ferrão, Head for Supercars - GT4 South, concludes that "I am very happy to welcome back for the 3rd consecutive year, a very professional team like Bullitt Racing. The return of this team, used to some of the best championships in the world, can only be a reason for motivation and pride for our organization. With this confirmation from the Marbella-based team, this is the third Mercedes AMG GT4 confirmed in Supercars - GT4 South, alongside José Correia and the car prepared by Sports and You. The Supercars- GT4 South season will consist of 5 double rounds. Starting at the Jarama Circuit on 5 and 6 June, followed by two races at the Autódromo do Estoril (10/11 July), a passage through Valencia after the summer break (25/26 September), Autódromo de Portimão (16/17 October) and will have its final round at the Jerez Circuit in early November (6/7 November).
