We’re now less than two weeks away from the next round of Supercars Endurance - the umbrella series encompassing Iberian Supercars, the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade, and Supercars España - which takes place at the Circuito de Jerez–Ángel Nieto. This historic venue will host the decisive weekend for the Spanish titles, and more besides, from 31 October to 2 November.

A Setting for Decisive Moments

Jerez de la Frontera will, in less than a fortnight, welcome the title-deciding round of Supercars España, concluding a season defined by close competition and unpredictable battles. The technical Andalusian circuit provides the perfect stage for the Spanish championship finale, bringing together drivers and teams who have made this one of the most hotly contested seasons in recent years.

But the importance of the Jerez weekend extends beyond Spanish borders. The event also counts towards both the Iberian Supercars and the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade, both of which approach the Andalusian round at a decisive stage before the season finale at Estoril later in November. Every point scored this weekend could prove crucial in shaping the Iberian and national titles — a weekend where consistency and strategy will be more important than ever.

Thus, Jerez once again becomes far more than a simple stop on the calendar — it’s a meeting point of rivalries, ambitions and season-long storylines. A circuit rich in heritage, fully embedded in the sporting narrative of the 2025 Supercars Endurance season.

Two Days of Flat-Out Action

The Andalusian round will feature two separate grids — one for GT4 machinery, and another combining the GTC and Touring Car divisions. This format will allow fans to fully enjoy the action within each category and appreciate the individual performances of their leading contenders.

Saturday will be all about the battle against the clock. Following a joint free practice session at 10:05, engines will fire up again for qualifying, which will set the grids for race day. The GTC and Touring Cars will take to the track first, with sessions scheduled for 13:30 and 13:50, followed by the GT4 field at 14:10 and 14:30 — a sequence sure to produce tight margins and laps on the absolute limit.

Sunday brings the moment of truth. The races will crown the winners and determine the new champions of Supercars España. The GTC and Touring Cars will open proceedings at 10:05 and 14:30, while the GT4 contests are set for 11:15 and 15:40. Each race will last 50 minutes — pure intensity, where strategy, consistency and nerves of steel could make all the difference.

For those not in the grandstands at Jerez, all the action will be broadcast live on DAZN Portugal and DAZN Spain, as well as via the Race Ready YouTube channel, bringing the spectacle of Supercars Endurance to fans across the Iberian Peninsula.

Star-Studded Grids for Jerez

Supercars Endurance heads to Jerez with two stacked grids, promising a vibrant spectacle both on and off the track. More than 25 cars in the GT4 category and over 20 entries across GTC and Touring Cars guarantee races packed with action, overtakes and strategic gambles — a heady mix of marques, teams and talent.

This strong turnout highlights the health and competitiveness of the championship, attracting many of the best drivers from across Iberia and showcasing some of the most advanced racing machinery in Europe. From the powerful BMW and Mercedes-AMG GT4s to the elegant Aston Martins and Toyotas, and the sophisticated McLarens and Porsches, the diversity of the field creates a true mosaic of performance and engineering excellence.

The leading contenders of the season remain in the fight and arrive at Jerez with unfinished business, fully aware that this could be the weekend that defines the championship outcomes. On a circuit renowned for its technical demands, everything is in place for two days of intense racing and high emotion, where every lap could shape the destiny of the titles.

A Track with Legacy

The Circuito de Jerez–Ángel Nieto has long reflected the diversity and competitive balance that define Supercars Endurance. Since 2020, when Málaga-based Bullitt Racing asserted its dominance with the Mercedes-AMG GT4, the Andalusian track has crowned numerous drivers and teams, consistently producing fiercely fought races.

Among the standout names in Jerez’s recent history are Ian Loggie and Romain Monti, key figures in Bullitt Racing’s era of dominance, securing three victories with the Mercedes-AMG GT4 and cementing the German marque’s reputation for consistency and performance. Edward Moore and Marmaduke Hall enhanced Tockwith Motorsport’s prestige with back-to-back wins in 2021 aboard the Ginetta G50, proving that British racing tradition remains deeply rooted in the championship’s DNA.

Subsequent years have seen new forces emerge. Speedy Motorsport rose to prominence with victories in 2023 and 2024, first through José Carlos Pires and Francisco Abreu in the BMW M4 GT4 (G82), and more recently with Jan Durán and César Machado driving the Toyota GR Supra GT4. During the same period, Lema Racing and Autoworks Motorsport also made their mark, underlining the vibrancy and technical balance that continue to characterise Supercars Endurance.

With four wins for Mercedes-AMG, two for Ginetta, two for BMW and one for Toyota, Jerez remains a circuit where victories are fought for down to the very last detail.
