The Supercars Endurance season continues on 31 May and 1 June at the Circuito de Madrid Jarama – RACE, marking the second round of the Supercars España series. Over twenty five entries are expected in the former Formula One circuit, along with plenty of excitement in the paddock at the iconic Jarama Classic event
A Large and High-Quality Entry List
The season got off to a strong start at the Algarve International Circuit, with packed grids and thrilling races that captured the attention of motorsport fans across the Iberian Peninsula.
Jarama promises more of the same, in a round exclusively for Supercars España. Still, many Portuguese teams and drivers will head to the historic Madrid circuit to take on their Spanish rivals on home turf.
More than 20 entries are expected, including many of the season’s top contenders – an impressive number for a standalone Spanish round.
Sunday's Supercars España races will be broadcast on DAZN in both Portugal and Spain, and streamed across official social media channels, along with coverage of the entire race programme.
Paddock Party
As always, the Supercars Endurance paddock will be buzzing with activity. Food zones behind the garages will provide space for families to relax and dine between races. Fans will also be able to get up close to the race cars and even chat with drivers.
Mini will host several paddock activities, including an on-track parade, showcasing models from across the brand’s history. BMW and Gulf will also have special displays and initiatives, adding extra colour and flair to the atmosphere.
For those curious to test their skills, a karting track and high-end racing simulators will be available, offering realistic and adrenaline-filled driving experiences.
Scalextric Gathering
Many motorsport fans have fond memories of Slot Racing – those electric scale cars on grooved tracks that many received as children.
Often seen as just a toy, slot car racing has a serious competitive side, with clubs across Iberia and seasoned drivers fine-tuning their miniature machines to race at the highest level.
During the event, a major Scalextric gathering will take place in the premium area on the first floor of Building 3, featuring iconic scale replicas of cars that made history both in real life and on miniature tracks.
A Thrilling Race Programme
Beyond the paddock attractions, the on-track action will cater to all tastes and keep the adrenaline flowing. Two races from Supercars España will headline the weekend, as top Spanish teams defend their home turf against fierce international challengers.
The Iberian Historic Endurance will showcase legendary cars from the 1960s and 1970s, while the Carrera 80 series will bring out touring and GT cars from the late 1970s to the early 1990s.
Adding to the excitement, Caterham Iberia will hold several races throughout the weekend, ensuring the track is alive with action almost non-stop.
A Big Crowd Expected
Jarama Classic is one of the highlights of the Supercars Endurance calendar – not just for the racing and paddock fun, but also for the massive crowds it draws.
In 2024, over 30,000 people packed the Circuito de Madrid Jarama – RACE, filling the grandstands and lining the track designed by John Hugenholtz, also known for Zandvoort and Suzuka designed tracks.
This year, another big turnout is expected once again, thanks to a strong race programme and a wide array of family-friendly activities.
Tickets are on sale now via the official Circuito de Madrid Jarama – RACE website and at El Corte Inglés locations in Spain offering ticket services. Early bird discounts are available until 12 May.
