The Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto hosts the final round of the Campeonato de España de Supercars on 7 and 8 November, with 24 cars entered across the GTC and Turismo categories of Supercars Endurance. Part of the Jerez Iberian Racing Festival, the event also counts towards the Iberian Supercars and the Portuguese Speed Championship (CPV).

Following visits to the Algarve International Circuit, Circuito del Jarama, the Vila Real street circuit and the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, the competitors in both categories head to Jerez for another contest featuring a wide variety of cars and teams. The Andalusian meeting will also decide the titles in the Campeonato de España de Supercars, setting the scene for exciting races on the demanding and iconic Spanish circuit.

GTX – a no-holds-barred battle

The GTX division features seven entries, bringing together different models and teams with plenty of potential to fight for the leading positions.

Chefo Sport by Petrogold fields three Ligier JS2Rs. One will be shared by Alba Vázquez and Himar Acosta, who joins his compatriot this time after competing for Veloso Motorsport at the previous round. The Spanish outfit will also field Máximo Varela and Gabriel Caçoilo, as well as Ángel Santos and Alejandro Iribas, who have been among the leading protagonists throughout the season.

Veloso Motorsport enters another example of the French model, with Artur Ferreira driving solo this time. Nevertheless, he will be looking to challenge for the podium positions.

Bruno Salgado and Rodrigo Pires will also be in action, sharing a Porsche Cayman CS entered by Gianfranco Motorsport, with the aim of securing strong results for the Zuffenhausen manufacturer.

António Almeida, representing Tockwith Motorsports in a Ginetta G55, will be looking to maintain the form he has shown throughout the season, having already secured several podium finishes.

In GTX Am, an intense battle is expected between the various entrants, all driving very different cars, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. This variety could prove decisive, with different machinery likely to be better suited to particular sections of the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto.

As at Vila Real, António Duarte will once again compete alone in TRS Team's McLaren 570S GT4. Protech Motorsport, meanwhile, fields Luca Fothergill and Nicole Drought in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS, with strong ambitions of securing the division's title.

Cup – nobody wants to be left behind

The Cup division brings together seven Porsche 911 Cup cars and promises another closely fought contest between drivers and teams.

Monteiros Competições marks Álvaro Vela's return to Supercars Endurance racing, this time at the wheel of a Porsche 911 Cup, while also entering its regular car for Vítor Costa. Lan GP Racing will be represented by Ángel Lanchares and Ramiro García-Pumarino, each with their own car, both now running the German manufacturer's 991.1 GT3 Cup.

Protech Motorsport fields its two usual line-ups, with Pedro Paiva Raposo and Craig Davies sharing one car and Marcus Fothergill and Dave Bennett the other. English driver Adam Fawsitt completes the entry list, representing Art of Speed. He currently leads the division in the Portuguese Speed Championship.

Turismos – several battles across different divisions

The Turismo category features seven cars competing across the TC+, TC and M2 divisions.

In TC+, the Audi RS3 LMS TCR entered for father-and-son pairing Paulo Silva and Guilherme Silva is the main addition, marking the duo's return to circuit racing. The entry, supported by Befast Motorsport, will face Daniel Teixeira in JT59 Racing Team's Hyundai Elantra N TCR. Having been the benchmark in the division over recent seasons, Teixeira starts as the clear favourite.

In TC, Frederico Formiga and João Castanheira represent Art of Speed at the wheel of a SEAT Leon Supercopa. It will be particularly interesting to see how the pairing fares against the teams competing in the BMW M2 Cup Iberia.

The Bavarian manufacturer's Iberian competition will once again feature four BMW M2 Racing cars. Befast Motorsport fields the two FPAK Junior Team entries, entrusted to Nathan Corbet and Gonçalo Moura, and Diego Sirgado and Bernardo Passanha, while Francisco Queiroz represents LOB Motorsport. Promotion Motorsport also returns with its BMW M2 Racing, this time entrusted to Dutch newcomer Valentijn Greven, who will be looking to challenge for the trophy honours, as the team did in Valencia.

The stage is set across all divisions for a weekend of close competition. Qualifying sessions take place on Saturday morning, starting at 09:25 Lisbon time, followed by the first race at 14:10. The second 50-minute race is scheduled for Sunday, with the start at 13:00. Both races will be broadcast live through Race Ready's social media channels and on DAZN Portugal and DAZN Spain.
