Supercars Endurance returns to action next weekend, on 7 and 8 November, at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto, for another round of the Iberian Supercars and the Portuguese Speed Championship, which will also host the final event of the Campeonato de España de Supercars.

Part of the Jerez Iberian Racing Festival, the meeting features a 29-car GT4 grid split across four divisions, bringing together a strong field of teams and drivers. With several contenders in a position to fight for race wins and the titles in their respective divisions, all the ingredients are in place for two days of intense competition, on a circuit where the battles are expected to go down to the very last moments.

Throughout the season, Supercars Endurance series has continued to establish itself as a leading force in circuit racing on the Iberian Peninsula, with competitive grids, a variety of manufacturers and high-calibre teams. The previous rounds have produced closely fought races, intense battles and a succession of different winners, with several drivers demonstrating their ability to challenge at the front. In Jerez, the competition continues for those contesting the Iberian Supercars and the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade (CPV), while the Campeonato de España de Supercars reaches its decisive stage.

GT4 Pro – an exceptionally strong field promises action to the finish

GT4 Pro is the largest division in the field, with eleven cars entered and a line-up featuring teams and drivers with proven competitive credentials. The variety of teams and manufacturers promises closely contested races, with several potential winners and the fight for the titles set to remain open until the final chequered flag of the weekend.

Speedy Motorsport fields three Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2s, with the pairings of Rúben Costa and Raúl Zunzarren, who have switched from the Portuguese team's Porsche to share a Japanese car, César Machado and Tomás Teixeira, and Luís Tavares and João Aguiar Branco.

The Portuguese outfit will face competition from Francisco Mora and Rodrigo Almeida, representing Toyota Gazoo Racing Caetano Portugal, and Rafael Rajani and Luís Aguiar, from SMC Motorsport. All three pairings, including Machado and Teixeira, have already reached the top step of the podium this season.

Other leading contenders include Racar Motorsport, with Mathieu Martins and Anton Morsing, and Promotion Motorsport, represented by Eric Gené and Jan Durán. These two pairings shared the victories in Valencia. German outfit CV Performance x JP Motorsport brings together young driver Gustav Berglund and Simon Connor Primm, who has previously competed in the DTM, makes his return to the championship, adding further experience and quality to an exceptionally competitive field.

GT4 Pro-Bronze – no quarter given

GT4 Pro-Bronze is set to deliver another fierce battle, with several contenders having already demonstrated their ability to challenge for top positions, including overall honours. Toyota Gazoo Racing Caetano Portugal once again fields Francisco Abreu and José Carlos Pires, while Batina Racing relies on Nuno Pires and Orlando Batina, both crews competing in Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 machinery.

Gianfranco Motorsport enters Alexandre Areia and Nuno Afonso in another Toyota, a car that has already shown its potential to fight for victories. NM Racing Team, meanwhile, fields Guillermo Aso and Mario Pinazo in a Mercedes-AMG GT4. Both pairings have the potential to challenge for the top step of the podium.

GT4 Bronze – an Iberian battle with everything still to play for

GT4 Bronze features eight cars and promises a particularly interesting contest, with several teams having demonstrated strong pace throughout the season. RACAR Motorsport will be represented by Vasco Oliveira and Manuel Gião in an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 EVO, while NM Racing Team fields Andrés Prieto and Ricardo Costa in a Mercedes-AMG GT4. Borja Hormigos and Héctor Hernández in the Autoworks Motorsport-run BMW M4 GT4, and Miguel Nabais and André Nabais in a Gianfranco Motorsport's Toyota, complete a group of teams that have already shown their ability to fight for Top-3 results.

These four teams have been among the main protagonists throughout the season, but other contenders could also make their presence felt. Veloso Motorsport fields Luís Calheiros and Paulo Macedo in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS, while Nokotech Racing by Speedy makes its return with Andrius Zemaitis in a Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2. The Lithuanian driver secured a Pro-Am class podium at the previous round.

Three years after its last appearance, Escuderia Faraón returns to the championship and makes its GT4 debut. Spanish drivers Pablo Bras and Álvaro Fontes will share a Mercedes-AMG GT4 and could prove to be a competitive force, although their entry will not score points towards either championship.

GT4 Am – strong field with clear favourites

As in the previous round, GT4 Am brings together a competitive group of drivers set to provide plenty of action across the two races in Jerez. With home advantage, Promotion Motorsport, represented by Smorg and Javier Macias in a BMW M4 GT4 EVO, and SMC Motorsport, which fields Jaime Sanchis and Alex Wendt in a McLaren Artura GT4, naturally emerge as leading references and contenders for the top positions.

However, they will face significant opposition. Rúben Vaquinhas and Mico Mineiro return for RV7 in their competitive Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4. The pairing has consistently fought for victories, although its main focus this season has been the Iberian Supercars and the CPV.

Encouraged by their results at the previous round, Miguel Ferreira and Fernando Soares return to the cockpit of NGT Motorsport's Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4. NM Racing Team, meanwhile, fields Josep Parera, who secured two podium finishes in Jerez, alongside Daniel Díaz Varela, who makes his championship debut in a Mercedes-AMG GT4.

Spain-based outfit Sunder Motorworks also makes its Supercars Endurance debut, with Oana Gratiela and José Garcia, a husband-and-wife pairing, sharing a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS. Their arrival adds another contender to a field promising closely fought racing.

There will be plenty of reasons to follow the action, either at the circuit or through the live broadcasts.

Both races will be broadcast live through Race Ready's social media channels and on DAZN Portugal and Spain, allowing fans to follow all the action from the Jerez round.
