André Fernandes Debuts with AF & V Motorsport
Portuguese-American driver André Fernandes will make his championship debut with AF & V Motorsport, supported technically by Veloso Motorsport, at the wheel of a Porsche 911 Cup entered in the Cup division.
Dividing his activity between the United States and Portugal, Fernandes brings to the championship the experience gained in various GT series and is expected to be a strong contender for podium positions in his class.
Chloe Grant Joins Monteiros Competições
Young British driver Chloe Grant, who competed in the F1 Academy in 2023 with ART Grand Prix, will race alongside Henrique Moura Oliveira in the BMW M4 GT4 (F82) of Monteiros Competições, within the GTX division.
At only 18 years old, Grant arrives in Jerez with an impressive single-seater background, reinforcing the Portuguese team’s commitment to nurturing young national and international talent.

McLaren Barcelona – SMC Motorsport Presents a New Pairing
McLaren Barcelona – SMC Motorsport will line up a new driver pairing in its McLaren 570S GT4: joining Alex Wendt, who finished third in the GTX class in Valencia, will be Jaime Sanchis, making his debut this weekend.
The Spanish driver brings valuable GT3 and GT experience to the team, which is fighting for the GTX division title in the Supercars España with the duo Alba Vázquez and Alfonso Colomina.

New Additions at Chefo Sport
Chefo Sport expands its presence with the entry of a third Ligier JS2 R, to be driven by Spaniards Alex Nogué and Máximo Varela. Both have experience in touring car competitions and previous outings under Nico Abella’s team structure, and will compete in the GTX division.
Within the same team, Himar Acosta returns to competition to join young Portuguese driver Gabriel Caçoilo in another Ligier JS2 R. At 35 years old, Acosta brings a past that includes the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and Spanish Formula 3 in the late 2000s, making his comeback now in the Iberian Peninsula’s premier racing series.
Jan-Niklas Stieler Joins CV Performance x JP Motorsport
Another new face in the paddock will be Jan-Niklas Stieler from Germany, who will team up with Jonathan Engström in the Mercedes-AMG GT4 of CV Performance x JP Motorsport. Young but already experienced in national GT championships, Stieler will make his Supercars Endurance debut aiming to put his experience to good use for the team.
The German-Polish formation CV Performance x JP Motorsport has been one of the standout structures this season, offering opportunities to several young European drivers to debut in the Iberian competition.

Andrius Zemaitis Returns to Solo Competition
Lithuanian driver Andrius Zemaitis will compete solo in this event, driving the Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 of Nokotech Racing by Speedy, after previously sharing the car with young Swiss talent Karel Staut.
By returning to a solo entry, Zemaitis re-joins the GT4 Bronze category after scoring points in GT4 Pro-Bronze at the Valencia Iberian Racing Festival.

Two Notable Comebacks
João Posser returns to competition for the Jerez round, driving a Porsche 911 Cup prepared by Veloso Motorsport. The Portuguese driver, who took part in the season opener at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, strengthens the Cup division grid and will be one of the contenders for the podium.
The Andalusian event also marks the return of Daniel Teixeira, who will once again take the wheel of the Hyundai Elantra N TCR of JT59 Racing Team, after his last appearance at Vila Real, a round that counted only towards the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade. The driver from Trás-os-Montes thus returns as one of the notable names of the series.
