The 2026 season marks a new chapter in the career of Francisca ‘Kika’ Queiroz, who will make her debut in the BMW M2 Cup Iberia, a championship promoted by BMW España and integrated into the Supercars Endurance series.

The young driver from Braga will compete behind the wheel of a brand-new BMW M2 Racing entered by LOB Motorsport in the TC division, scoring points both for the division and for the overall BMW M2 Cup Iberia standings. Powered by a 313-horsepower engine, the German model presents an excellent platform for young drivers aiming to develop their skills in a highly competitive environment.

After a solid background in karting, Francisca ‘Kika’ Queiroz has steadily built her career in Portuguese-organised one-make series. Her move into the BMW M2 Cup Iberia therefore represents a natural step in her progression, joining what is currently one of the most significant showcases of Iberian motorsport.

The driver does not hide her excitement about the new challenge, while acknowledging the demanding nature of the project she is undertaking.

“I’m very excited to compete in the BMW M2 Cup Iberia this year as part of the Supercars Endurance. It’s a very important step in my career because it’s an extremely demanding championship where consistency, endurance and teamwork make all the difference — and that’s exactly the type of challenge I’m looking for at this stage,” she said.

19 years old female driver added: “I want to continue developing as a driver, step outside my comfort zone and compete at the highest level possible. Supercars Endurance gives me that opportunity in a highly competitive environment with a very strong level of drivers and teams.”

With clear objectives in mind, Francisca ‘Kika’ Queiroz approaches the season as an opportunity for steady development without losing sight of her competitive ambitions. “My main goal is to be consistent, learn as much as possible in every race and fight for solid results. Naturally, I want to be at the front and challenge for strong positions, but above all I want to keep growing and establishing myself further in this environment. I strongly believe in the project we have and I’m fully focused on giving my best on track,” she emphasised.

The BMW M2 Cup Iberia calendar features five rounds across Spain and Portugal, visiting some of the Iberian Peninsula’s leading motorsport venues, including the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Circuito de Madrid Jarama-RACE, Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Circuito de Jerez and the Autódromo do Estoril.

Across the ten races of the season, €25,000 in prize money will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event, while the overall champion will earn an official test in a BMW M4 GT4 EVO.

The BMW M2 Cup Iberia cars will share the grid with both GTC and Touring Car machinery, with the M2 entries competing in the TC division within the Touring Car category.
