João Posser will once again take part in the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade season finale, which will be held this coming weekend at the Autódromo do Estoril, driving his Veloso Motorsport-run Porsche 911 entered in the Cup division.
The Portuguese gentleman driver has been a familiar figure on Portuguese tracks in recent years. In 2023, he partnered with Miguel Caetano. Now, João Posser is once again drawn to the Estoril Circuit finale, enticed by the large and highly competitive grids for this thrilling showdown.
In 2023, João Posser and Miguel Caetano achieved a fourth-place finish in the Cup division during the first race, followed by a climb to the third step of the podium in the second. This year, João Posser is determined to once again be a strong contender in the battle for the Cup division.
“Unfortunately, Miguel cannot be present this time, but I had already decided I would compete in this race, so I will be there. I know the competition is tough, but I’ll do my best to challenge [Rui] Miritta, who has been very competitive this year,” he said.
“It’s a championship with an excellent competitive level and plenty of cars on the grid. Being the final race of the season, it’s a chance to be part of the end-of-year celebration and to compete against strong opponents,” João Posser added.
