Veloso Motorsport adds two Porsche 911 Cup for Jarama




The Iberian Supercars Endurance by Hankook kicks off on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of May at Jarama. Veloso Motorsport will add two Porsche 911 Cups to its already announced Audi R8 LMS GT4 on the starting grid. After Araújo Competição revealed its return to the series with two McLaren 570S GT4s for Francisco Carvalho/Miguel Cristóvão and Álvaro Ramos/Fred Block, Veloso Motorsport announced its participation in the series with the Audi R8 GT4 for the Portuguese duo Patrick Cunha and Jorge Rodrigues. The Póvoa de Lanhoso based team will now enter a Porsche 911 Cup for Portuguese youngster José Barros and another for the duo Miguel Caetano/João Posser. Those two Porsches bring to four the number of cars of the Stuttgart manufacturer already confirmed for the opening round of the series, followed by the confirmation of French veteran Jean-Roch Piat (Porsche 911 Cup) and the Lithuanian Andrius Zemaitis (Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 ).



The new sporting regulation of the Iberian Supercars Endurance brings together cars from the GT4, GTC and TCR classes, all with BoP (balance of performance) defined at an international level.


In the TCR class, the participations of Daniel Teixeira (CUPRA TCR) and Vasco Barros (KIA Ceed TCR) are already confirmed, but further announcements are expected in the coming days.
