2TYM Racing’s KTM to add spice to GT4 South European Series

More Spanish drivers are on the way to the Race Ready-organized series as Miguel Fernández Yuste and José Martínez Bueno will be sharing driving duties in the KTM X-Bow Super Light. The KTM machinery will add some more variety to GTC class.

The entry list for the second round of the GT4 South European Series will continue to grow at Jarama, which is attracting a strengthened Spanish presence with drivers keen to impress at their home round. 2TYM Racing will enter a KTM X-Bow Super Light for Spaniards Miguel Fernández Yuste and José Martínez Bueno, who will face their baptism of fire in the series on the track built on the outskirts of Madrid.

Fernández Yuste and Martínez Bueno, two Bronze-rated drivers with plenty of experience on the national scene, are looking forward to their debut appearance in the series promoted by Race Ready in collaboration with SRO Motorsport Group. Both Spaniards will do battle for GTC class honours against no less than four Ginetta G50 GT4 cars.

Fernández Yuste explained: “We feel extremely motivated for our first outing in the GT4 South European Series. José and I hope to enjoy lots of time contesting our home round at Jarama, of course we are also aiming to make the best out of our debut and show our speed!”

Diogo Ferrão, promoter and organizer of the GT4 South European Series, also expressed his “pleasure with more entries joining the field for our second round in Madrid, which also marks the start to the Spanish tour. The KTM car will also bring us a bigger variety of GT4 models and we expect a fantastic battle against at least four Ginetta G50 GT4 cars entered for this round. We are still putting significant work into this area to further enhance our entry list. Our organization has a clear goal in mind, which is to bring closely-fought racing and keep the large crowd on their toes.”

The series promoted by Race Ready in partnership with SRO Motorsports Group kicked off at Nogaro, in the Coupe de Pâques. The next round will be held at Jarama, June 15th-16th, and will visit three other circuits – at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Autódromo Internacional do Algarve and Circuito do Estoril. In addition, a “Special Cup” will be held at the Vila Real street circuit.

All GT4 South European Series races will be broadcasted on TV – live in Portugal, Porto Canal, and delayed in Spain, Teledeporte – and will be streamed live on the series’ social media.
