The final round of Supercars Endurance, taking place this weekend at the Autódromo do Estoril, will feature a wide range of new additions to the grid, further reinforcing the international character of a championship that arrives at its decisive moment with strong momentum for both the Iberian Supercars and the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade.

American talent from Formula 4

Among the most notable entries is the arrival of Hudson Schwartz, who will team up with Andrius Zemaitis in the Nokotech Racing by Speedy Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2, entered in GT4 Pro-Bronze. The young American joins Supercars Endurance following a solid season in Spanish Formula 4—finishing 11th out of 42 competitors—and a recent outing in the final round of the GT4 European Series in Barcelona, where he had his first competitive experience in GT4 machinery at the wheel of a Speedy Motorsport-run Toyota. His debut at Estoril marks a natural next step as he transitions into the world of GT racing.

Porsche specialist strengthens Veloso Motorsport

Also in the GT4 field, Hendrik Still joins forces with Patrick Cunha to race the Veloso Motorsport Porsche Cayman RS CS. The German driver is a recognised Porsche specialist, with a résumé that includes the Pro-Am vice-championship in the GT4 European Series and second place in ADAC GT4 Germany. He brings valuable international experience to Estoril and, Veloso Motorsport hopes, the pace to challenge strongly within GT4 Pro-Bronze.

French squad out in force

The grid features a major presence from CDRS, which enters four Ligier JS2 Rs and one Ginetta G55, all in the GTX division, signalling a strong commitment to the final Supercars Endurance event of the year. Olivier Lopez pairs with Christian Philippon in a Ligier, while Franck Labescat teams up with Emmanuel Gachiteguy in the Ginetta. David Chiche joins Pierre-Alexis Lacorte, William Cavailhes joins Thomas Cavailhes, and Stéphane Codet shares a Ligier with Pascal Trieux—significantly bolstering the French contingent for this decisive round.

Miguel Gaspar returns for solo effort

In GTX, Miguel Gaspar returns to Lema Racing to compete solo in the Porsche Cayman GTS, after sharing the car with Spain’s Álvaro Fontes in Valencia. The Portuguese driver now looks to find the good fortune that eluded him there, where an incident involving his teammate prevented him from taking part in the second race of the weekend.

Art of Speed shifts focus to Touring Cars

Another update is the return of Art of Speed to the series. After appearing early in the season with two Porsche 911 Cup cars, the Coimbra-based team now returns with a SEAT León Eurocopa Mk2, entered in the TC division of the Touring Car category - a completely new entry for the championship - with Frederico Formiga and Frederico Castro sharing driving duties.

New line-up for Chefo Sport

Lastly, Chefo Sport by Petrogold has reshaped its line-up for the season finale, bringing together Ángel Santos - winner of Supercars España in the GTX division - and Gabriel Caçoilo, who impressed in Jerez. The Spaniard and the Portuguese driver will join forces to contest the Estoril round aboard one of the team’s Ligier JS2 Rs, aiming to fight for strong results in an increasingly competitive division.

How to Watch

Fans wishing to follow the decisive moments of the season live can purchase single-day tickets for €15, while a weekend pass costs €20. Both are available via BOL.pt.

The Autódromo do Estoril is thus set to host a high-intensity season finale, with closely fought races, titles likely to be decided down to fine margins, and an atmosphere charged with excitement.

As usual, all on-track action will be broadcast live on DAZN Portugal and DAZN Spain, as well as on Race Ready’s YouTube channel. International coverage will also be provided, with English-language commentary on AlphaLive, German coverage on Deutsch Motorsport Television, and Italian broadcast on Parc Fermé—ensuring wide reach for one of the most important weekends of the calendar.
