Supercars Endurance will strengthen its technical platform for 2026 through a new partnership between Race Ready and Hankook, which becomes the exclusive tyre supplier for the GTC and Touring Cars categories. The agreement comes at a pivotal moment for the championship, which is entering a new era with the separation of grids between GT4 and the remaining competition cars.
From this season onwards, the GTC and Touring Cars championships will compete on a standalone grid, separate from GT4. This structural change enhances the sporting profile of these categories and their respective classes, allowing them to fight outright for overall race victories. The regulatory evolution raises the technical demands of the series, further underlining the importance of consistent and reliable solutions across the Supercars Endurance platform; Iberian Supercars, the Campeonato de España de Supercars and the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade.

Within this framework, Hankook will supply tyres to the GTC and Touring Cars fields, providing compounds renowned for reliability, increased durability and consistent performance, key factors in a championship where tyre management and consistency play an ever-greater role in determining results.
Supply, fitting and trackside support will be handled by Race Tyres International, ensuring logistical and technical operations aligned with the high standards of the championships. For Race Ready, this partnership represents a natural step in consolidating its presence within Supercars Endurance, in line with the competitive growth of the GTC and Touring Cars categories.

According to Diogo Ferrão, CEO of Race Ready, the agreement comes at exactly the right time for the championships: “the grid split has given GTC and Touring Cars a new level of prominence, and it made perfect sense to support that evolution with a partner such as Hankook. We are talking about a tyre that is reliable, consistent and offers a very stable performance window — something fundamental for teams and drivers in such a competitive championship. We believe this technical solution will contribute to even more exciting racing. With Race Tyres International overseeing supply and fitting, we ensure a professional and uniform service across the entire field, allowing teams and drivers to focus exclusively on performance on track”.
Manfred Sandbichler, Motorsport Senior Director at Hankook: “I’m delighted that Hankook is the exclusive tyre supplier for the Touring Car and GTC Championships starting this season und to support the drivers and teams with the Ventus Race. I’m looking forward to this new partnership and lot’s of exiting racing on track”.
The new partnership will make its competitive debut at the official pre-season test on 21 March at the Autódromo do Estoril. The season will then get underway at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, scheduled for 15–17 May.
