The Supercars Endurance returns this weekend to the Circuito de Jerez–Ángel Nieto for what promises to be a memorable round. The Andalusian event will bring the Supercars España season to a close, with all titles still up for grabs. It also marks the third round of both the Iberian Supercars and the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade, which are entering their decisive phase before the season finale at Estoril.
With forty-nine cars on track, the atmosphere promises to be one of pure intensity at one of the most iconic and demanding circuits on the Iberian Peninsula.
The Jerez Challenge
Located in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), the Spanish circuit is renowned for its blend of fast and technical corners, testing both driver skill and car balance. Measuring 4.428 kilometres and featuring 15 turns, the track rewards bravery and precision, challenging competitors to master braking zones, maintain rhythm through its flowing corners, and manage their Pirelli tyres wisely.
The GT4 category lap record, set at 1:51.388 by Jan Durán in the Speedy Motorsport Toyota GR Supra GT4, remains a benchmark many will aim to beat this weekend. With constant progress from the teams and the high level of competition across the grid, there is every reason to believe the stopwatch at Jerez could be rewritten.
Last year, César Machado and Jan Durán claimed victory in the first race for Speedy Motorsport, while Mathieu Martins and Manuel Gião took the second win for Racar Motorsport. This season, César Machado returns alongside Adrián Ferrer in the Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo 2, while Mathieu Martins joins forces with Roberto Faria in the Racar Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4. It’s a top-class entry list combining experience and youth, with open titles and renewed ambitions.

Two grids (GT4 and GTC/Touring Cars)
The Jerez round gathers one of the largest and most diverse fields of the season, with twenty-nine cars in GT4 and twenty-two in the GTC and Touring divisions. For the second time this year, Supercars Endurance will feature two separate grids, allowing for more intense and strategically pure racing, with four fifty-minute races throughout the weekend.
The GT4 field features top teams and manufacturers – Aston Martin, Mercedes-AMG, BMW, Toyota, McLaren and Porsche – represented by leading outfits such as Speedy Motorsport, Racar Motorsport, Lema Racing, Promotion Motorsport, Veloso Motorsport, Gianfranco Motorsport, Batina Racing and NM Racing Team. Each team brings highly competitive driver pairings, setting the stage for fierce battles for race wins and championship points across all classes.
In GTC and Touring, excitement continues with a grid defined by technical diversity and close sporting rivalry. Ginetta, Ligier, Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren and Hyundai ensure a visually and aurally thrilling spectacle, with British, German, Slovenian, Spanish and Portuguese teams competing on equal footing.
This will be a weekend of decisions. In Supercars España, every division arrives at Jerez with titles still undecided (full standings available here and here), and every point could prove crucial. At the same time, this round plays a key role in the Iberian Supercars and Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade, both of which will conclude at the Estoril Circuit at the end of November.
