The Federação Portuguesa de Automobilismo e Karting (FPAK) and Race Ready have formalised a new partnership agreement that secures Race Ready's role as organiser and promoter of the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade (CPV) through to the end of 2028.

The agreement further strengthens a collaboration that has played a key role in the sustained growth of Portugal's premier circuit racing championship.

In recent years, the CPV has enjoyed an unprecedented period of development, characterised by growing entry numbers, increasingly competitive grids, a high standard of racing and rising engagement from teams and drivers, all of which have contributed to increased spectator interest. This progress is largely the result of Race Ready's strategic vision and professional approach, which have earned widespread recognition throughout the motorsport community.

"The Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade is enjoying one of the strongest periods in its history. The number of cars on each grid is clear evidence of that. This has been the result of Race Ready's meticulous work, which we have followed with great satisfaction. To further strengthen a championship that is clearly in excellent health, we felt it was the right time to formalise a new promotion agreement for the next three years, for the benefit of the sport, FPAK and the Promoter alike," said FPAK President Ni Amorim.

For Race Ready CEO Diogo Ferrão, "providing stability and maintaining alignment with international regulations have been key characteristics of Race Ready and are fundamental in protecting the investments made by teams competing in our championships. It is not always easy to resist requests from teams seeking regulatory changes to allow one or two additional cars onto the grid, but we prefer to maintain the current framework and provide confidence to those who have committed to our championships rather than changing the rules simply to attract more entries. We are extremely proud of the work achieved within the CPV, although we recognise there are still areas where improvements can be made, such as the Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade de Turismos. This agreement reflects FPAK's confidence in our work and provides a stable foundation not only for the organiser, but also for teams and drivers."

This new phase will ensure the continuity of an organisational model that has consistently delivered quality and stability, enabling the CPV to further establish itself as a benchmark for Portuguese motorsport, both nationally and internationally.
